Obviously, one cannot help to hink back throughtout history of another series of events involving individuals being gassed by a person who was actually at the opening of the very first Volkswagen factory and gave a speech ther in connection with that opening.

분명히 돌이켜 볼 수 밖에 없죠. 역사 속에도 그런 일이 있었잖아요. 사람들에게 가스를 주입한 사건요. 폭스바겐의 첫 번째 공장 개장식에 왔었던 어느 한 사람이 저지른 일이었죠. 그 사람이 거기서 개장 관련 연설도 했고요

독일 밖에서는 GM과 피아트 크라이슬러를 포함한 다른 자동차 업체들이 조작 장치 사용 혐의로 기소됐습니다. 그러나 모든 벌금과 형사 고발 스캔들 이후에도 폭스바겐은 세계 최대 자동차 회사의 꿈을 실현했습니다.

그와 동시에 트럼프가 대통령으로 당선되면서 미국 연방정부에서는 이제 기업 이익이 환경 보호보다 더 중요하다고 선언했죠.

This announcement maed the US, Syria and Nicaragua the only three nations on Earth to abandon the effort to prevent global warming.

이 발표로 미국, 시리아, 니카라과 만이 지구 온난화 방지 노력을 포기한 세 나라가 되었습니다.
